I am a Postdoc working in the Experimental Clinical Psychology Group at the University of Wuerzburg, Germany. Here I work on the mechanisms of social attention, using virtual reality, eye tracking, and EEG.
Previously, I did my PhD at the Department for Social Neuroscience at the MPI for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, where I worked (also using virtual reality and peripheral physiological measures) on a longitudinal study on the effects of mental training on emotion regulation.

I am developing and teaching the following courses at University of Würzburg:
I am also supervising Bachelor and Master theses on the topic of social attention, using eyetracking, EEG, and virtual reality.
I try to engage students and doctoral researchers to critically question research practices and learn about reproducible research, open science, methods and statistics. For this aim, we started a biweekly journal club.
